Archaeologists in Israel have uncovered a Canaanite graveyard that can be dated as far back as 2200 BC. The 4000 year-old shaft tomb has yielded grave offerings and pottery, but the race is on to retrieve these articles before the bronze age cemetary is destroyed by the very building project that was responsible for its discovery in the first place.
