A road company's bulldozer was removing another layer in the sandpit and came across some human remains in the sand. Workers immediately contacted archeologists. It turned out that those were burials of the 2nd or 3rd centuries B.C. related to the late Scythian epoch. The tombs mostly harbor women's remains. Such burial mounds are characteristic of Bystryansky archaeological culture.
